Measure your pop door
Measure the width and height of the hole your hens walk through. It needs to fit inside the opening size on the left.

Check the space above it
The door slides straight up, so you need clear, flat wall space above the opening — no windows, hinges or trim in the way.

Make sure it's wood (or you can add a board)
The frame screws on. Wooden coops work as-is. Metal or plastic coop? Screw a piece of plywood on first and mount to that.
